“Cooper had very rarely slept longer than 5hours at night before waking and was difficult to resettle back to sleep. When Cooper was 19 months I realised I needed some help as we were sleeping in the spare bed together but he was still waking regularly and not sleeping well or through the night.
We were referred to Beth by our paediatrician and I thought I would have needed someone to come to the house to help and support me with getting Cooper back to sleeping in his cot. At that time there was no night nurses available to do that and I didn’t want to wait so decided to take Beth up on the phone consultations. That night after the first phone consultation, I put Beth’s advice and action plan in to place. I wasn’t sure I had the strength or perseverance to do it but I surprised myself even though the first night was the most challenging. The second night when Cooper woke he was a breeze to resettle back to sleep in his cot.
